ABOUT

CUBO is a game/puzzle about geometry and 3D projection.

INSTRUCTIONS

The world is a cube. You — using the arrow keys (↑←↓→) to move the white circular block through the circular slots — need to explore all the six faces of the cube in search of the white rectangular blocks (eighteen in all) and than return to base.

There are two special things: the tunnels, used to move the block to the other side of the cube (rotating 180°), and the side shortcuts, used to move the block to the next side of the cube (rotating 90° dependig on the direction).

There isn't a sophisticated animation for the rotations, so theres a blinking icon showing your current position in a multiview projection just below the cube.

Truly impressive game with bitsy restrictions. I love puzzling video games and this one is really chilling. Only thing is that i have to pass on some circular slots (the ones next to arrows) several times to get from left to right only because moving on it triggers the exit. I mean maybe the arrows could've serve the purpose of exits instead? Anyway, you got a new follower here (:
PS: I wonder if music is your creation?

Hello Peter. Thank you for your appreciation. Yeah, that exit directions don't have a good usability... I tried to use the arrows, but I can't remember why I abandoned the idea, but good tip!!! My tiles and music are 100% original for the game... each game I start again and again, to improve the imagination [1]. I'm a kind of newbie in gamedev, but always play Atari and MS-DOS games. Certainly you got a new follower too. :)

Nice game! - I played it without reading the instruction and quickly figured out what to do. It was still a bit confusing remembering where in the map the player is, but since the world is small I got through by trial and error.

Thanks for playing the game Todemann! I want to play other people games too to write such nice comments/reviews like yours. :)
